Victoria’s journey into cake design started when she was just fifteen years old, landing her very first job as a cake artist's assistant. She was immediately hooked by the craft and knew right away that this was the exact career she wanted to pursue. Growing up, she was always drawn to art, but she had an equal love for baking. Cake artistry became her perfect happy medium—a place where she could bring art and food together to create something truly special. Driven by the singular goal of becoming a professional cake artist, she decided to take her passion to the next level and continue her education at the world's premier culinary school.
To turn that passion into a career, Victoria attended The Culinary Institute of America, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Food Business Management. While she was there, she had the amazing opportunity to intern for Ron Ben-Israel, one of the top cake artists in Manhattan. That experience completely opened her eyes to the world of luxury cakes and showed her what it truly means to treat a cake like a piece of art. It was during that time that she really began to dream about what her own creative voice and business could look like.
After graduating, Victoria helped open a brand-new cake studio in Upstate New York. That was a pivotal moment for her because she discovered that her absolute favorite part of this job isn't just decorating—it's getting to know her couples. She loved walking alongside them from their very first meeting all the way to the wedding day.
That close connection is exactly what inspired her to start her own business, officially launching Vici Design. It is such a privilege for her to create cake art that tells a couple’s unique story. Victoria finds inspiration everywhere—in architecture, fresh florals, unique textures, and everyday art. Her goal is always timeless elegance, and she truly loves meeting a couple, understanding their vision, and bringing their sweet moment to life.
